Deer Stalking
From mid September until 20 October, red deer stags come onto the ground and are in season to stalk, and there is some hind stalking in November and December. As you can see, the ground is quite flat and often boggy which can make stalking at Shinness quite challenging.
Rates: £250 per stag £100 per hind for Red Deer and £50 an outing for Sika.
Sika deer stalking is also available, from 1 July, in the early morning and evenings. For details, and rates, consult Derick Sutherland, the keeper.
